Supreme Court Notes 3/19/14 Chapter 18 Section 1

1. Over 8,000 petitions are sent to the filing room all year long.
2. The Supreme court releases opinions in the press room.
3. It is a tradition to shake hands in the robing room.
4. The supreme court contains four interior court yards.
5. The John Marshall dining room contains a picture of James Madison and William Marbury.
6. In the Justices Dining room they can not speak of cases that they just went over.
7. The SC library contains all the volumes of states and federal law books.
8. The SC library is for the supreme court bar and the supreme court.
9. The Plaza Pediment is viewed far less by the public.
10. There are bronze doors at the top of the West Plaza that you encounter before entering the supreme court.
