BR - 8/30/13

I believe that this is so stupid. I can't believe that someone would have the guts to tell them they had to leave. The business should be held responsible for this action and they should pay the consequences. Many years ago, I thought this problem was solved and racism was no longer a problem. This business will probably have severe law suits against them and I think they should. This should have never happened and I feel bad for the african american family.

I Have A Dream Assignment

19. "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood."

This means that Martin Luther King Jr. believes that one day everyone, black and white, will be able to sit down together at a table for lunch. In the red hills of Georgia, he believes that not only slaves but there slave owners will one day be sitting together and not get judged for it. This does not only mean in Georgia but everywhere in the United States. He is basically saying that one day everyone will be treated equal and that african americans and americans will no longer be split apart for bathroom usage or eating parties.

BR- 8/29/13

I do believe that the speaker is Martin Luther King Jr. He is talking about how he had a dream and how he believes that the dream is a dream that he will be able to fulfill. At that time, segregation and racism was a really big political topic and he felt like that was the dumbest thing that could happen. He feels like everyone is created equal by god and that just because his skin color is different, nothing else is different. He feels like african americans are just as equal to americans and no one is to be treated differently. One day he will get everyone to see that everyone will vote equal and be seen as equal. The biggest dream of his is that his children will one day live in a nation not to be judged by the color of their skin but by their knowledge. They will all be free one day and that will be the day that everyone will be able to sing will liberty. America will be a great nation and they will let freedom ring from everywhere in the world.

BR - 8/27/13

1. Should the two boys be tried as adults? Why or why not?
Yes, I think the boys should be tried as adults because they brutally murdered an 88 year old man. They also have prior court convictions and records which just puts the cherry on top of the cake.

2. Should their identity remain undisclosed or since the crime is heinous? Justify your answer.
I think their indenties should not remain undisclosed because I think the world should know them and know what they did, because what they did was absolutely wrong in every way.

3. What can we as a society do to keep crimes like this from happening?
We as a society can help each other keep a look out and if we see something suspicious we could report it to the local police or help the person in trouble.
